Well hello Friends, how are you? How was your Halloween? I loved seeing all of the little trick or treaters in their costumes. My favorite is the dog costumes though. I mean come on, who doesn't laugh when they see a bun costume on a little wiener dog? :)
One of the joys of my life is my Grand dog, Sonny. He is a Chorkie- (Chiwawa, Yorkie mix) Beautiful little man and I spoil him too. He's 14 now and doesn't jump up as well, so he has little stairs to get up on the sofa. lol.
I went to an amazing place last weekend, besides Mom and Dad's, which is my favorite, this place rates high. If you ever get to Williamstown, KY, visit the ARK Experience. It's an exact replica plus a learning center about Noah's Ark. Its 3 stories high, but there are ramps. This entire place is wheelchair accessible. I was deeply moved by this place. I could see how they survived and kept the animals alive. Many don't believe, but I do. If you only have the faith the size of a mustard seed, it can grow. Do not pass this place up. It has something for everyone, including a live Zoo. Children love this place, as will you.
This morning, I experienced something special here in Missouri. I woke up to a thick, heavy snow fall. I posted on Facebook about it. The sky was blue, and the roads were clear, but the snow sparkled like diamonds. The camera could not do it justice. So, here I am in black tennis shoes and a baby blue robe, making videos. My neighbors and passersby probably think I'm nuts, but maybe it made them want to stop and enjoy it a minute too. So much hustle and bustle... sometimes you just have to go out in your slippers and capture the beauty. If I'm being honest, I'm a bit of a sky watcher and you can see me in crazy attire for sunrises and sunsets as well. Ha, ha, ha.
So hey, enjoy the moments. Enjoy every gathering with 1 or many. Hug tighter, maybe more than once. Share your journeys with a phone call. There's usually someone that wants to see your name on their phone. My kids know I will pick up if I can, it's kind of a tradition in our family. It can be obnoxious on your birthday, because that call and that loud spontaneous Happy Birthday song; is coming. Everyone in our family gets that call.
Enjoy your Thanksgiving and eat a little bit of everything! You can diet later!
